The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the compliance team on assigned tasks and clients.
- Draft responses to client queries and handle ad‑hoc queries with initiative.
- Escalate issues or concerns to the compliance line manager as appropriate.
- Assist with compliance work for non‑UK companies, including handling third‑party requests (training provided).
- Prepare and review UK statutory financial statements in accordance with the applicable UK financial reporting framework and standards (e.g. FRS 102).
- Plan, schedule and coordinate UK audit work and assist with all audit queries.
- Coordinate with internal accounting teams and draft clear, concise and accurate client emails.
- Ensure compliance work is delivered within deadlines, with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in UK statutory financial preparation, review and/or audit, preferably within public practice or business solutions auditing.
- Part qualified (ACA/ACCA) highly desirable; ongoing study support available.
- Highly organised, able to handle multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent, high‑standard responses first time.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to gain trust and develop relationships quickly.
- Proactive knowledge sharing and research ability within the team.
- IT skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with IRIS highly desirable.
