The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the compliance team on assigned tasks and clients.
  • Draft responses to client queries and handle ad‑hoc queries with initiative.
  • Escalate issues or concerns to the compliance line manager as appropriate.
  • Assist with compliance work for non‑UK companies, including handling third‑party requests (training provided).
  • Prepare and review UK statutory financial statements in accordance with the applicable UK financial reporting framework and standards (e.g. FRS 102).
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate UK audit work and assist with all audit queries.
  • Coordinate with internal accounting teams and draft clear, concise and accurate client emails.
  • Ensure compliance work is delivered within deadlines, with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in UK statutory financial preparation, review and/or audit, preferably within public practice or business solutions auditing.
  • Part qualified (ACA/ACCA) highly desirable; ongoing study support available.
  • Highly organised, able to handle multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent, high‑standard responses first time.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to gain trust and develop relationships quickly.
  • Proactive knowledge sharing and research ability within the team.
  • IT skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with IRIS highly desirable.
