As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day, and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries; they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward.

We're proud to work for a mission‑driven company leveraging AI to transform the way we work. CrowdStrikers drive their careers through flexibility and autonomy while also being expected to contribute to a culture of responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation. We use an AI‑first mindset as a force multiplier to proactively and continuously accelerate execution, build expertise, uncover insights, and solve complex problems. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About The Role: We’re building a welcoming and flexible team that prizes collaboration over competition, providing opportunities to learn new skills, mentor junior and senior developers, and contribute to the direction of both the team and the products for which we’re responsible. This is a high‑trust environment where we allow team members to manage their own time, take holidays as they need, and reward them with competitive salaries and equity.

The Falcon endpoint agent reacts in near‑real‑time to changes in the threat landscape, and the foundation is the ability of the endpoint agent to quickly query our cloud for new information. This system operates within tight latency and response‑time constraints at a scale matched by few other environments, and the scale is only growing. CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Developer in Test for our Cloud Detections Platform team, tasked with building next‑generation detection platform. In this capacity, you will develop and operate the team’s CI/CD pipeline, ensuring our solutions work and raising the alarm when they suddenly don’t. You’ll build an end‑to‑end validation pipeline, largely from scratch, leveraging existing frameworks and tooling where possible, while being able to innovate when necessary.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and break software.
  • Verify component, system integration, and application level features to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance meet our quality standards.
  • Participate in code and design reviews, providing technical guidance and feedback to team members.
  • Review engineering technical design documents and requirements, and provide guidance and strategy about testability.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of end‑to‑end test and validation processes.
  • Increase automated test coverage, and contribute to existing tools, frameworks and related solutions.
  • Leverage new open‑source solutions to build new tools that test in new ways.
  • Improve delivered product quality across the platform and applications.
  • Collaborate on determining root causes of production outages and adding quality improvements to prevent outages in the future.
  • Cooperate in a remote‑friendly environment; some travel may be required for in‑person meetings.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar tools.

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience as an SDET or Backend Developer.
  • 4–5+ years building testing frameworks and tooling for a cloud SaaS product.
  • Strong debugging skills: identify design flaws, race conditions, and performance bottlenecks in complex architectures.
  • Computer science background or equivalent experience.
  • Experience building, validating, and/or maintaining large distributed systems at scale.
  • Solid design and problem‑solving skills with a passion for engineering excellence, quality, security, and performance.
  • Strong cross‑group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies; at least one is required.
  • A sense of humor and humility.

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience building, operating, validating, and scaling low‑latency internet services.
  • Experience building and shipping cloud‑connected endpoint software.
  • Solid grounding in at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to cybersecurity and intelligence.

Benefits Of Working At CrowdStrike:

  • Market‑leader compensation and equity awards.
  • Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs.
  • Competitive vacation and holidays for recharge.
  • Paid parental and adoption leaves.
  • Professional development opportunities for all employees.
  • Employee networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Vibrant office culture with world‑class amenities.
  • Great Place to Work certified globally.
