About the Role
The Cloud Security Specialist team strengthens Crowd Strike's ability to grow, position, sell, and close cloud security business across EMEA.
As a Cloud Security Specialist for Northern Europe, you will be the primary Falcon Cloud Security authority for your territories, working with enterprise customers across the region.
This is a cloud security specialist field sales role with two equally important engines.
The first is your own: you will define and execute a business plan for your territories, build pipeline through direct outreach, and lead cloud security sales cycles from first conversation to close.
The second is collaborative: you will work alongside Crowd Strike's regional sales teams, helping them identify and win Falcon Cloud Security opportunities in their accounts.
Your ability to make those colleagues more effective is as important as your ability to sell independently.
Must be based in Northern Europe to be considered.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute a cloud security territory plan for your territories in
- Northern
Europe: identifying high-potential accounts, prioritising based on fit and win potential, and holding yourself accountable to outcomes, not just activity.
- Generate your own pipeline through direct outreach, insight-led engagement, partner collaboration, and marketing alignment. You will not wait for opportunities to come to you.
- Lead Falcon Cloud Security sales cycles end to end: discovery, qualification, technical evaluation, business case, stakeholder alignment, and close.
- Work closely with Crowd Strike's regional sales teams: educating them on cloud security opportunities, joining strategic account conversations, and making Falcon Cloud Security a natural part of their account strategy.
Your goal is to make them more successful, not to work around them.
- Engage credibly at every level: from CISO and security leadership to Dev Ops and cloud architecture teams.
You are technically confident enough to lead these conversations, with or without a solutions engineer in the room.
- Help customers operationalise and consume Falcon Cloud Security products post-sale, contributing to renewal and expansion.
- Stay current on Crowd Strike's cloud security roadmap, cloud platform developments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and the competitive landscape.
- Provide product and market feedback to Crowd Strike's product management and leadership teams.
- Travel up to 50% to support customer engagement across your territories.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise technology sales experience with cloud security or cloud computing products.
- A demonstrable track record of building your own pipeline: you have opened accounts that were not handed to you and can walk through exactly how you did it.
- Experience working alongside and enabling generalist account teams: you know how to align with them, bring them into a cloud security strategy, and make them more effective without becoming dependent on them for leads.
- Technical depth in cloud security: credible across cloud workload protection, container and Kubernetes security, cloud security posture management, and cloud detection and response.
- You can lead a technical conversation with confidence, whether or not a solutions engineer is present.
- Commercial credibility at senior level: you have led conversations with CISOs, security leadership, and C-suite stakeholders, and closed complex enterprise deals in the £250K to £2M range.
- Strong Northern European market knowledge: existing relationships in the enterprise security ecosystem across UKI, Benelux, or the Nordics are strongly preferred.
- Structured sales discipline: you use a qualification framework such as MEDDICC as a way of thinking, forecast accurately, and disqualify early when deals lack urgency, access, or committed champions.
- Fluency in English.
- An additional European language covering Dutch or a Nordic language is a plus.
- Cloud practitioner certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
Qualities of an Ideal Candidate
- Owns their business: you have a plan, you work it, and you hold yourself accountable to results. You do not wait for someone to bring you a deal.
- A natural collaborator who does not need to be the hero: regional sales teams want to work with you because you make them more successful, not because they have to.
- Technically confident: you can go deep on cloud security architecture with a Dev Ops team and pivot to business impact with a CISO in the same conversation.
- Commercially sharp: you qualify hard, forecast honestly, and know when to walk away.
- Self-driven and organised: you manage a wide territory across multiple countries and time zones with structure and discipline.
- Resilient and adaptable: you handle complex, long sales cycles and changing conditions without losing momentum.
- Motivated to grow: curious about the market, the technology, and your own craft.
