About the Role:
Intel Automation Team: The collection, processing, and exploration of information at a large scale is at the core of the Intelligence mission at CrowdStrike. The Intelligence Automation team is responsible for prototyping, building and operating the systems that make up our Intelligence pipeline, and we’d like you to join us!
As a remote employee in a globally distributed team, you connect to your co-workers mostly via Slack and Zoom. In this setting your ability to work unsupervised, communicate asynchronously, and take initiative in maintaining lines of communication is crucial.
Internship dates: Monday 1st June - Friday 21st August
What You’ll Do:
- Gain insights into the vast variety of projects our data scientists are working on: from multi-agent orchestration and MCP to binary analysis, audio analysis and time series processing.
- Leverage our arsenal of cutting edge technology and hardware to build systems with real-world impact.
- Work directly with Senior Data Scientists.
- Learn how to write scalable, production-ready code.
What You’ll Need:
- Undergraduate/Masters student in your penultimate year of study (2027 graduate) with completed coursework in linear algebra and statistics or equivalent knowledge of applied mathematics or completed modules in Machine Learning, Deep Learning or Generative AI.
- Solid knowledge and experience in writing Python code to pre-process and analyse data to generate actionable insights.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Ability to communicate technical detail in a simple, top-down manner.
- Ability to independently make sound, justifiable decisions and take action.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work independently and meet deadlines.
- You’re a problem solver with a can-do attitude who loves interesting challenges.
- You’re interested in the latest technologies in your field of expertise.
- You’re self-motivated and actively seeking opportunities to grow.
- You’re looking to work in a globally distributed team.
