Crowdfunder UK, the nation's leading platform for crowdfunding, is on the hunt for a part-time Social Media Content Creator who can bring creativity and enthusiasm to our team. This role is a great opportunity for students, freelancers, and any creative individual who thrives in the fast-paced world of social media.

What you'll be doing

  • Content wizardry: Dream up and produce engaging content for our social channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and TikTok. Your mission is to captivate and grow our community with stories that not only entertain, but also empower and inspire action.
  • Trend mastery: Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends and innovations, brainstorming ways Crowdfunder can produce content that is our twist on that trend.
  • Visiting projects: There are dozens of inspiring projects added every day to the platform, you’ll need an eye for which ones have compelling stories to tell and be comfortable reaching out and travelling to film with them.
  • Strategic collaboration: Work with our community and marketing teams to further our social media strategy. Participate in creative sessions, gather inspiration from across the digital landscape, and help us evolve.

About you

  • You’ve got more ideas than you have time to film, are keen to test new styles, see what performs well and repeat.
  • You understand social media platforms and their mechanics. 9:16, safe zones and trending audio all mean something to you.
  • You can make content that gets views, but also understand brand-building and can support us to show up in a consistent way on social channels.
  • You're skilled in producing and editing video content, using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Filmora.
  • You have stellar communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Your attention to detail is strong, ensuring quality and consistency across all content.
  • You're comfortable and willing to talk on camera to connect with an audience naturally and effectively about the amazing stories being created through Crowdfunder in interviews, round-up videos, project visits and more.
  • Experience? You might’ve worked in marketing, communications, or a similar field, or you have a personal social media presence that demonstrates your prowess as a content creator. But, we’ll consider applications from any level of experience - if you have great content to show us, we’re interested!

In return

  • Flexible part-time hours (up to 10 per week) that fit your lifestyle (please note this is a self employed position).
  • £20 per hour.
  • Work remotely, some travel needed to visit projects in person (please note you must live in the UK).
