We have exciting opportunities to join our Engineering team based in our Head Office in Birkenhead, Wirral. We are seeking enthusiastic and driven Civil and Mechanical Engineering graduates to start their careers as Project Engineers. This role provides a firm technical grounding and a clear path to growth, with opportunities to become future leaders and managers within our organisation. Positions are available for immediate and Autumn 2026 start dates.
We are looking for committed and motivated graduates to join our specialist, dynamic project teams. As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will work on a wide range of consultancy projects for leading water utilities both within the UK and internationally. Additionally, you will be involved in the development and implementation of the Netbase system as it expands into global markets. Throughout your role, you will receive support to cultivate expertise in the analysis, reporting, and management of water supply and distribution networks.
As a Graduate Project Engineer, you’ll be working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexible start times available between 8am and 10am, and finish times between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. You will benefit from:

To be eligible for this role, you must have less than 12 months of relevant experience and hold a degree obtained in 2025 or later. Eligible degree disciplines include:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- General Engineering
- Mathematics
- Environmental related degrees
Please note that all positions require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree considered desirable. We are seeking graduates with the following attributes:

- The ability to take the initiative and perform tasks efficiently and independently

- A full UK driving licence – there will be times when you will need to drive a manual company vehicle
- Self-motivated, with an eagerness to learn and be highly driven with a proactive approach to work
