Dayshift pattern:
- 4 on 4 off rolling days
- Monday - Friday: 08:00-16:30
- Alternate Saturday: 08:00-13:00
- Alternate early / late shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday: 06:00-14:30
- Week 2: Monday to Friday: 14:00-22:30
- Alternate Saturday: 08:00-13:00
- Tuesday - Thursday: 18:00pm - 06:00am
- Friday: 18:00pm - 02:00am
42 hour working week
23 days holiday
The Role
As a HGV Technician you will carry out fault diagnosis, service, and repairs to Volvo standard. Complete repair order write ups, service report sheets and production card information. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure, to actively seek solutions to problems. Good verbal communication skills. Providing excellent customer service is paramount.
Requirements
Qualifications required:
- City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI (or equivalent) in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry (or similar environment).
- HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.
