Crossroads Truck & Bus MOT Quality Controller / ATF Lane Operative Rotherham Depot Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd is the Volvo Truck and Bus specialists across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. We provide a total transport solution for the industry, from new trucks to used trucks, and parts and servicing for trucks, buses and trailers. We require a hands-on MOT Quality Controller / ATF Lane Operative for our Rotherham Depot. The Role The main responsibility for the role is to undertake MOT quality checks in line with the company MOT policy, you will also control the day-to-day operation of our onsite ATF lane in accordance with DVSA requirements. The overriding objective of the role is to achieve a 100% MOT first time pass rate and maintain a strong working relationship with the DVSA representatives. The successful candidate will ensure the Company MOT policy and quality processes are adhered to as well as coaching and mentoring, the workshop team. To carry out road testing on fault diagnosis and or quality control. Shift Pattern Monday to Friday 06.00am until 15.00pm Requirements – Qualifications required City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI (or equivalent) in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry. – IRTEC certification. – Good communication skills (internally / externally). – Attention to detail. – Able to follow processes. – Coaching and mentoring skills.
