Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd is the Volvo Truck and Bus specialists across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. We provide a total transport solution for the industry, from new trucks to used trucks, and parts and servicing for trucks, buses and trailers.

We are seeking an enthusiastic & detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team on a 15-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment & wants to contribute to both day-to-day HR operations & the long-term development of our training function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across all HR activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records & ensure compliance with company policies & procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding & induction.
  • Support training coordination & development initiatives.
  • Respond to general HR queries from staff & managers.
  • Prepare letters, contracts & HR correspondence.
  • Be engaged in a busy & complex area of our business.

About You

  • Previous experience in HR administration or a similar role, with the ability to manage confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks & meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills & attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to ensure clear and professional interaction with employees & managers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Clean driving licence.

You’ll be part of a supportive team where your input matters. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in HR & training development while making a real impact during a key period for our organisation. Ideally you will have your CIDP Level 3 (or above), law qualification, or significant experience in employment matters.

Hours

Monday to Friday 08.30am until 17.00pm.
