Crossroads Housing and Support gives adults facing homelessness a safe, furnished home in Birmingham. As a Support Worker you will help residents move into work, education and a home of their own.
WHERE YOU WILL WORK:
based at our office in Aston (B6), travelling each day between our properties across Birmingham. Own car essential, mileage paid at 45p a mile.
THE ROLE:
- Support 20 to 25 residents, with one hour of one to one support each every week.
- Help residents follow their support plans and reach their goals, such as finding work or their own home.
- Carry out regular property and safety checks.
- Keep accurate support notes and report progress to your manager.
- Be the first point of contact for your residents, including by phone.
