Locations: Across Perth and Kinross

Flexible full-time, part-time and bank contracts available

Pay:

  • SVQ Level 2 qualified: £14.06 per hour weekdays/£15.06 per hour after 6.00pm weekdays and at weekends
  • Non-SVQ: £13.80 per hour weekdays/£14.80 per hour after 6.00pm weekdays and at weekends

The higher rates are paid to colleagues who already hold SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

As a Crossroads Colleague, you will:

  • Provide person-centred support in peoples homes in the community
  • Support with personal care and daily routines
  • Help people take part in activities and stay connected to their community
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with supported people and their families
  • Communicate effectively with relatives, colleagues and other professionals
  • Work safely, professionally and confidentially

Our service users include older people, children, people with physical disabilities, and people with additional support needs.

Essential requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to a car with business insurance for work
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Able to communicate effectively in English for care delivery and record-keeping
  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential

If you do not already hold SVQ Level 2, we will fund your study of this. This post is subject to PVG Disclosure. Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
