We’re looking for an experienced Senior Care Manager to drive strategic growth, maintain high-quality standards, and promote ongoing improvements in our care services.
As Senior Care Manager, you’ll:
- Oversee a team of Service Managers, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with regulatory standards across your designated area.
- Work closely with the Care Operations Manager and other Senior Service Managers to implement initiatives developed by the Head of Care Operations & Registered Manager.
- Champion the development of care and support services, driving meaningful improvements that elevate client satisfaction.
- Act as a safeguarding expert, providing mentorship and setting a high standard for the operations management team.

Ideal Candidate Skills and Experience:
- Willingness to start an NVQ Level 3 and/or Level 5 in Health and Social Care within three months.
- Care Certificate, with an understanding of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act.
- Prior experience in line management within a care setting, with strengths in rostering, observations, and supervisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and adaptability with digital platforms and software.
- Experience managing HR procedures, including disciplinary and absence management processes.
- Knowledge of safeguarding protocols, with hands-on experience in handling safeguarding concerns.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members, carers, and clients, while maintaining professional boundaries.
- A commitment to maintaining dignity, respect, and confidentiality for those in your care.
- Deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by unpaid carers.
- Full UK driver’s license, access to a reliable, insured vehicle, and flexibility to travel across Surrey.
