Join Our Team of Compassionate Live-in Carers. Crossroads Care Surrey, a respected charity with over 30 years of experience supporting carers and those they care for, is seeking empathetic, skilled, and flexible Live-in Carer Support Workers to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you’ll live with clients in their own homes, providing tailored care and companionship, supporting their independence, and promoting dignity at every stage. Whether assisting with personal care, household tasks, or complex medical needs, you’ll be part of a trusted support system that helps people live well in the place they love most.
What You’ll Do
- Level 1: Domestic & Social Support
- Light housekeeping, cooking, and laundry
- Help with shopping, errands, and correspondence
- Support with pets, outings, and social activities
- Level 2: Personal Care & Medication Support
- Assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Administer prescribed medication
- Supporting nutrition and hydration
- Level 3: Complex Care (with additional training)
- PEG feeding, stoma care, epilepsy management
- Positive behaviour support

Essential Qualifications
- Experience in a caring role (live-in preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Kind, patient, and respectful nature
- Commitment to person-centred care
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently
- Valid UK driver’s licence with access to a car
- willingness to travel across Surrey
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Positive Behaviour Support training
- Specialist clinical skills (e.g., PEG, epilepsy care)
