Where you help someone feel safe, understood and supported and that alone can turn a hard day around. You’ll be working one‑to‑one with adults with learning disabilities, supporting them through the everyday things that help build confidence and control. This role is based in Central Lanarkshire, mainly Bellshill, Motherwell & Wishaw.
Responsibilities
- Helping with personal care and emotional wellbeing.
- Supporting someone to cook, plan or organise.
- Encouraging social connection and choice.
- Providing a calm, steady presence.
Qualifications
- Experience in a support or care setting.
- Understanding of the importance of respect, empathy and trust.
- SVQ Level 3 is desirable; support will be provided to work towards it.
- Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- Registered with SSSC.
- Prove eligibility to work in the UK.
