As a Support Practitioner within our Children & Family Services, you will play a key role in supporting children and young people to feel safe, build trust and achieve positive outcomes. This is a hands-on role where you will support young people in a residential setting. Some days will be rewarding and full of progress. Others will be more challenging. What matters is your ability to stay consistent, calm and focused on building relationships.

About you:
You will have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals, or be able to demonstrate relevant transferable skills, and understand the importance of building relationships based on trust and consistency. You will be able to stay calm under pressure, respond to challenging behaviour and maintain clear boundaries. You will be willing to learn, reflect on your practice and work as part of a team. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3 and must hold a full manual driving licence. This post is subject to PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration requirements.
