What Your Day Could Involve
- Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks
- Helping with cooking, household chores and community activities
- Offering calm and reassuring support when needed
- Keeping accurate records and contributing to care plans
- Working early, late, weekend and sleepover shifts as part of a rota
About You
You are kind, reliable and respectful. You listen well and treat every person as an individual.
You do not need care experience. What matters most is your values and willingness to learn. Ideally, you will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare, or be willing to work towards it with our support.
You will be happy to work in a way that reflects CrossReach’s Christian ethos.

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
