As a Relief Care Worker, you'll provide practical support, encouragement and companionship to older people, helping them live safely, comfortably and with dignity.
- Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Assist with meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration
- Promote independence, choice and wellbeing
- Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support
- Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures and best practice
You will be caring, reliable and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to supporting older people.
Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential.
You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
