We’re looking for an experienced, confident Lead Practitioner to join our team at Finniescroft Farm, providing a safe, stable home for young people who’ve had a tough start in life. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead by example, supporting young people to grow in confidence, develop life skills, and build positive relationships. You’ll guide the team day to day, making sure every child gets the care, support, and opportunities they deserve.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building strong, trusting relationships with young people, helping them feel safe, valued, and included
  • Creating and managing individual care plans that put their needs, wellbeing, and development first
  • Leading and mentoring staff, making sure high standards of care and support are maintained
  • Working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to get the best outcomes for each young person
  • Supporting young people to engage with education, build independence, and be part of their community

  • HNC Social Care and SVQ Level 3
  • Full UK Manual driving licence

You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
