As a Senior Night Care Worker at Cameron House, you will provide calm, confident leadership overnight while delivering high-quality, person-centred care for older people living with dementia. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, reassuring and well-led environment during the night, supporting both residents and staff to feel secure and cared for. What you will do * Lead and oversee the night shift, acting as the senior point of contact within the service * Deliver compassionate, person-centred dementia care throughout the night * Administer and oversee medication in line with training, policies and procedures * Support, guide and supervise night care staff to maintain high standards of care * Complete night-time checks, documentation and handovers to ensure continuity * Respond appropriately to changes in residents’ needs or overnight incidents * Promote dignity, reassurance and consistency in all aspects of care About you You will be an experienced care professional with the confidence to lead a night shift in a dementia care setting. You must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be registered with the SSSC, or willing to register. You will be calm under pressure, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred dementia care while supporting and guiding others to do the same.
