Main responsibilities

  • Lead and support the overnight care team to deliver high-quality care
  • Provide personal care and emotional reassurance to residents throughout the night
  • Administer medication safely and maintain accurate records
  • Make sure everyone feels respected, comfortable and secure
  • Support a positive, person-centred culture across the team

About youWe’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Is registered with the SSSC, or ready to apply
  • Has experience supporting vulnerable adults in a care setting
  • Has strong leadership and communication skills
  • Is patient, dependable and able to work calmly under pressure
  • Your Christian faith is an important part of how you care for others.

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
