We are looking for a Senior Income Assistant to join our Central Finance team and help ensure income across CrossReach is recorded accurately, consistently and on time.
The Role
You will support the Income Team Leader and work closely with services staff, Credit Control and Finance colleagues. You will play a key part in maintaining reliable income records and supporting good practice across the organisation. Your main focus will be checking and reconciling income records, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and making sure income data reflects actual occupancy and service delivery. You will monitor income bank accounts, complete monthly reconciliations, and ensure income is processed and allocated correctly. You will also support services staff by providing clear guidance and training, responding to queries, and promoting consistent and accurate income recording. You will act as a point of reference for managers and support in constantly improving the way we do things.
The person
You will have a relevant accounting qualification, or be able to demonstrate some other relevant accounting experience, as well as experience working with income, billing or reconciliations. You will have a strong attention to detail and be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. You will be comfortable working to deadlines, organised, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
