As a Senior Care Worker at Clashfarquhar, you will combine hands-on care with responsibility for supporting staff and maintaining high standards across the service. You will lead by example, ensuring people supported experience dignity, reassurance and consistent, person-centred care while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the service. Key responsibilities * Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support in line with individual care plans * Act as a role model for care staff, offering guidance and day-to-day support * Support shift coordination and contribute to safe, effective service delivery * Monitor wellbeing, record observations and escalate concerns appropriately * Promote dignity, choice and independence at all times * Work closely with managers to uphold care standards, policies and procedures About you You will be an experienced care professional who is confident supporting both people and staff within a care environment. You understand the importance of consistency, reassurance and leadership, and you communicate clearly and calmly. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be registered with SSSC, or be willing to work towards registration. You will also have the ability to complete PDA supervision, PDA medication, SVQ Level 4 and the workplace assessors’ award, supporting the development of staff and maintaining high standards across the service.
