Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Worker to provide leadership, consistency and high-quality care within a residential care setting. This role is central to supporting both residents and staff, helping to maintain calm, continuity and high standards during busy and challenging periods.
You will combine hands-on care with responsibility for supporting staff, overseeing day-to-day practice and contributing to a positive, well-run service.
What you will do
* Provide leadership and guidance to care staff on shift
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
* Support with personal care, mobility, medication and daily routines
* Monitor wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes or concerns
* Support staff to uphold professional standards and best practice
* Ensure accurate records are completed and clear handovers are maintained
* Contribute to a safe, organised and supportive care environment
About you
You will be an experienced care professional with SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, confident taking responsibility within a senior role. You will bring a calm, organised and supportive approach, with the ability to lead by example while continuing to provide compassionate, hands-on care. Previous experience in a senior care role is essential.
