As a Relief Care Worker in our care home, you will help support the wellbeing and daily comfort of older people. Working on a flexible basis, you will step in to provide care and support that helps maintain a calm and well run service.
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
- Encouraging independence and supporting wellbeing
- Supporting residents with meals, hydration and nutrition
- Completing care records accurately
- Providing flexible cover for shifts where required
You will be reliable and compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting older people. You will understand the importance of respectful, person centred care and working as part of a team. Experience in care is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided. Basic IT skills are required for recording information and completing training. You will be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care if you do not already hold this qualification.
