As a Relief Cook, you'll provide essential cover across the service, helping ensure residents continue to receive nutritious meals and excellent dining experiences whenever support is needed. From preparing home-cooked favourites to catering for specialist dietary requirements, you'll play an important role in supporting residents' health, wellbeing and enjoyment.
What you will do:
- Prepare nutritious meals, snacks and refreshments
- Cater for a variety of dietary and nutritional needs
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
- Support menu planning and meal preparation
- Monitor food stocks and assist with stock control
- Ensure meals are presented to a high standard
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the service
About you:
You will have previous experience in a catering, hospitality or kitchen role and be confident preparing meals for larger groups. You'll be flexible, organised and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. A Food Hygiene qualification is essential. A professional catering qualification would be advantageous.
