As a Care Worker with CrossReach, you’ll provide care that helps older people live with dignity, comfort and joy. You’ll be part of a supportive team making a real difference to people’s lives every day.
What Your Day Could Involve
- Acting as a key worker and helping to shape and review care plans
- Supporting with personal care and daily routines with respect and kindness

About You
You’re someone who brings warmth, patience and compassion to everything you do. You treat every person with respect and dignity. Ideally, you’ll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or be willing to work towards it with our support. You’ll also have basic computer skills for learning and record keeping, be registered with the SSSC and part of the PVG Scheme. As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
