As a Relief Support Worker with CrossReach, you will support adults living within our mental health services to live safely, with dignity and choice. Working on a flexible, as-and-when basis, you will provide consistent, person-centred support within a residential setting, helping individuals maintain stability, independence and wellbeing.
What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day support tailored to individual needs
- Build positive, respectful relationships based on trust
- Contribute to care plans through observation and accurate record keeping
- Support people to take part in activities, routines and community life
- Assist with personal care while promoting independence and choice
- Administer medication under the guidance of senior staff
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and overnight
About You
You are caring, reliable and able to work calmly and respectfully in a residential support environment. You bring a flexible approach, good communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting others. Previous experience in social care is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided. You have basic IT skills, are willing to register with the SSSC, become a member of the PVG Scheme, and work within our Christian ethos.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
