In this role, you will work as part of a friendly, supportive team, providing day-to-day care tailored to each person’s individual needs. Whether it is helping someone with daily tasks, building confidence, or supporting their wellbeing, your role is all about making a positive impact.

What will the role involve?

  • Supporting residents with day-to-day care needs
  • Assisting people to develop life skills and build confidence
  • Helping individuals stay connected with the community
  • Supporting personal interests, activities, and routines
  • Encouraging independence wherever possible
  • Contributing to care plans and attending reviews
  • Administering medication under supervision
  • Working shifts that could include days, evenings, weekends, or overnight cover

What do you need to apply?

  • A recognised qualification at HNC Social Care (minimum Level 2) or willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and internet use)
  • A caring, compassionate approach
  • Flexibility to work on an as and when basis
  • Membership of the PVG Scheme
  • Registration with the SSSC
