We are recruiting Relief Support Practitioners to support children and young people within our residential Children and Family Services. This is a flexible, relief role providing cover as required to help maintain safe, stable and nurturing environments. This is a hands-on, relationship-based role where you will work directly with children and young people, supporting daily routines, emotional wellbeing and positive experiences within a consistent and therapeutic setting.
What you will do:
- Provide direct care and support to children and young people in line with individual needs
- Build positive, trusting relationships using a relational and trauma aware approach
- Support daily routines, education, activities and community engagement
- Work alongside colleagues to maintain a safe and structured home environment
- Contribute to care planning, recording and reporting
- Support young people to attend appointments, activities and family contact
