As a Relief Care Worker, you'll support older people to live with dignity, independence and comfort. You'll work across shifts as needed, helping residents with daily routines, personal care and companionship while providing high-quality support when it's needed most.
Whether you're experienced in care or looking for a new direction, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
What you will do
- Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living
- Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration
- Encourage independence and individual choice
- Help residents remain active and engaged in daily life
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families

- Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures
About you
You will be kind, dependable and able to adapt to different situations and shifts. You'll enjoy helping others and understand the importance of treating every resident with dignity, respect and compassion. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We're equally interested in people with the right values, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
