As a Creative Arts Coordinator, you will organise and deliver therapeutic creative arts sessions for individuals living with dementia, both within a local care home and in the wider community. Something as simple as a smile can make a real difference to someone’s day. This is an opportunity to join a close‑knit and supportive team. The role can be challenging at times, and priorities may change quickly, so you’ll need to be patient, adaptable, and understanding. We work collaboratively and pride ourselves on supporting one another—there is always someone to turn to.
What we’re looking for:
- An arts‑based qualification (or currently working towards one)
- A willingness to work towards an SVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- A good understanding of dementia and how therapeutic art can support individuals to develop and maintain skills
