As a Housekeeper in our service, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the people who live and work here. Your work supports daily life within the service, helping ensure shared spaces and private areas remain comfortable and well maintained.
What your day will look like:
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to agreed standards
- Supporting laundry tasks including washing, drying and organising clothing and linen
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate colleague
- Supporting a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment
- Working as part of the wider service team
About you:
You will be reliable and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. You will be comfortable working within established routines while managing your time effectively throughout the day. Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided. Basic IT skills are required for completing mandatory training. You must be a member of the PVG Scheme or willing to join.
