Here at CrossReach we are looking for a reliable and friendly Domestic Assistant to join our team and help keep our service clean, safe and welcoming. Although you'll only be working 1.5 hours a week, this is an important role, supporting the day to day running of one of our counselling services by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You’ll help create an environment where the people we support, visitors and staff feel comfortable and at ease.

You’ll carry out general domestic duties such as:

  • Cleaning communal areas, offices and facilities
  • Maintaining hygiene standards in line with health and safety requirements
  • Following cleaning schedules and completing basic records
  • Handling cleaning materials safely and using equipment appropriately

We’re looking for someone who takes real pride in your work, paying close attention to detail and keeping standards high. You’re reliable and well organised, able to manage your time effectively and work on your own initiative. You bring a warm, respectful and positive approach to everything you do, and you understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and preserving the dignity of others when working in a care setting.

Previous cleaning experience is helpful, but not essential; we’ll provide any training you need, but may at times work independently, so being able to manage your time effectively is important.

Come and join a friendly team where every role is valued, no matter how big or small.

We also offer you a range of benefits that you would expect from an organisation that supports others. Firstly, there is access to a wide range of exclusive retail and leisure discounts through our rewards scheme and the Blue Light Discount card. We also ensure that your future and that of your loved ones is secured with a generous contributory pension plan and death in service benefit. Balancing work and family are made easier with our suite of enhanced family friendly policies and your health and wellness are prioritised with access to our health cash plan, giving you cash back for a wide range of health treatments. We even have access to a care concierge service to assist you with life's challenges, providing invaluable support when you need it most.

But we also know that your training and development is important to you, and as well as a contribution to your professional membership fees, we are keen to support you in making the right steps to learn, grow and develop in ways that are right for you.
