In this Senior Care Worker role, you will combine hands-on care with responsibility for supporting staff and maintaining high standards across the service. You will support people living with dementia to experience dignity, reassurance and meaningful daily routines, while guiding staff to deliver thoughtful, person-centred care.
What your role will involve:
- Leading shifts within a dementia care unit
- Supporting staff to deliver consistent, person-centred dementia care
- Acting as a senior point of support for complex situations
- Providing hands-on care that responds to individual needs and behaviours
- Supporting care planning, reviews and ongoing assessment
- Overseeing medication processes and safe practice

About you:
You are an experienced senior care professional with a strong understanding of dementia care and the confidence to lead others. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be willing to continue developing your specialist and leadership skills. You will have basic IT skills, be registered with the SSSC and be a member of the PVG Scheme. This role is an Occupational Requirement and requires you to be a practising Christian who can work within and uphold the Christian ethos of CrossReach.
