At CrossReach, our Care Workers support people to live with dignity, choice and independence. As a Relief Care Worker, you will step in to support our teams when needed, providing high-quality care and companionship to people in our services while working flexibly around your availability.
What your role will involve:
- Supporting individuals with personal care, daily routines and practical tasks
- Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing at all times
- Building positive, respectful relationships with the people we support
- Working as part of a wider staff team to deliver consistent, person-centred care
- Following individual support plans, risk assessments and care guidelines
- Supporting a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Attending training and team meetings as required
About you:
You will be caring, reliable and respectful, with a genuine interest in supporting others. You will be comfortable working as part of a team, able to follow guidance and confident in communicating with colleagues and the people you support. Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will ideally hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards this.
