As a Support Worker in our service, you will support individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and take part in everyday life. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help people develop skills, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks and personal routines
- Encouraging independence and supporting life skills development
- Supporting individuals with meals, household tasks and personal wellbeing

- Acting as a key worker and contributing to support planning
- Supporting a safe and inclusive environment
You will bring patience, empathy and a genuine commitment to supporting people to live independently. You will understand the importance of person centred support and building positive, respectful relationships.
Previous mental health support experience is essential for this role. Due to the remote locations of some of the support provided, you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle. Experience in the care sector is helpful but not essential, as full training and support will be provided. Basic IT skills are required for completing records and training. You will be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care if you do not already hold this qualification.
We have a variety of posts available ranging from 16 to 30 hours per week, with both set contracts and annualised hours contracts on offer.
