Do you want to support children and young people to feel safe, valued and included? As part of our Children and Family Services team, you will help create a nurturing environment where relationships and consistent care promote healing and growth.

What your day could look like:

  • Supporting emotional, physical and social needs
  • Contributing to care plans and assessments
  • Encouraging positive relationships and relational health
  • Supporting education, hobbies and community activities
  • Assisting with household routines
  • Helping young people develop life skills
  • Accompanying children to appointments and visits
  • Working flexibly, including sleepovers
  • Working on a three week rolling roster with a mix of early shifts, late shifts and weekends

What you will bring:

  • Experience working and supporting young people - ideally in care or education (desirable, but not essential)
  • Reflective practice
  • Strong communication skills

  • An understanding of trauma and attachment
  • A full manual driving licence
  • Willingness to register with the SSSC or work towards the necessary qualifications
