As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, tidy, and hygienic environment, helping to create a safe, welcoming, and comfortable home for residents, staff, and visitors. Working as part of a supportive team, you will carry out a range of cleaning duties, which may be rotated or adapted to meet the needs of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the building
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure duties are completed effectively
- Support residents by providing cleaning materials and equipment, encouraging them to maintain their own personal spaces in line with their care plans
- Report any concerns or difficulties to the Senior Project Worker/Project Worker
- Assist with the supervision and guidance of others in house-cleaning duties where required
- Participate in staff meetings and training activities
