As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you’ll play a key part in leading a dedicated team that provides high-quality, person-centred care to older people. You’ll bring calm, compassion and professionalism to every shift, ensuring that care is delivered with dignity and respect.
What Your Day Could Involve
- Leading and supporting your care team, including rota planning and task allocation
- Providing management cover and ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Overseeing care planning, medication management and quality assurance
- Supervising and appraising staff, and supporting their training and development
- Promoting the wellbeing of service users in a kind and person-centred way
About You
You’re a confident and compassionate leader who supports others with empathy and integrity. You bring clarity, calm and commitment to your role. You have a Christian faith and are comfortable working within and upholding CrossReach’s ethos. You’ll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, and be willing to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award. You’ll also need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership.
