Relief Day Care Worker
Are you caring, compassionate and passionate about supporting others?
We are looking for a Relief Day Care Worker to join our team and help provide high-quality care and support to people attending our day care service.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support service users with their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, promoting dignity, independence and inclusion in a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting personal care and daily living needs.
- Encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
- Assisting with meals, refreshments and maintaining a clean environment.
- Following care plans and maintaining accurate records.
- Working in line with health and safety requirements and organisational policies.
About You
You will be compassionate, patient and flexible, with a genuine desire to help others.
You'll be comfortable working in different situations and as part of a wider team.
Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential.
We are interested in people who share our values and want to make a positive difference in the lives of older people.
Qualification requirements
- Hold (or work towards) an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- Registration with the SSSC.
