Responsibilities
- Supporting service users with personal care while maintaining dignity and independence
- Acting as a key worker and helping to develop and review individual care plans
- Building positive relationships with service users, families, and carers
- Supporting and leading group activities that promote wellbeing and social interaction
- Assisting with meals, including preparation and service
- Helping to keep the centre clean, safe, and welcoming
- Keeping accurate records in line with organisational policies and SSSC requirements
Qualifications
- A caring, reliable, and respectful approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office
- SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, or willingness to work towards it
- Ability to work in line with CrossReach’s Christian ethos and support service users’ choices in this area
