Make a difference as a Relief Children’s Worker at CrossReach! Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? At CrossReach, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive, and we’re looking for a passionate Relief Children’s Worker to join our team.

In this role, you’ll be supporting children with disabilities, planning activities tailored to their needs, and promoting social inclusion. Whether in a residential setting, at home, or out in the community, you’ll help children access local services and leisure opportunities. You’ll also work closely with families and carers, ensuring great communication and teamwork.

We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with children, ideally with experience in supporting those with learning disabilities. You’ll need basic computer skills and a willingness to gain your HNC and SVQ3 qualifications if you haven’t already.

At CrossReach, we work in Christ’s name, so being respectful of our Christian ethos is key. We’ll also make sure you’re fully vetted (PVG membership) and registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
