The shift starts with helping one young person with breakfast while another wants to head outside. You organise coats, grab a few favourite toys and take them into the garden. Before lunch, one of them takes your hand for the first time. These small moments are part of the job. Over time, you build trust and become part of a child's daily routine and sense of security.
As a Children's Worker, you'll support children with complex needs to get through their day in a way that works for them. This can include helping with communication, personal care, routines and managing emotions.
Your role will involve:
