Working at CrossReach is more than a job; it's a chance to join a committed, creative, and compassionate team delivering life-changing therapeutic services to infants, children, young people, and adults across Scotland. We seek a warm and friendly team player for a Creche Worker role in our child-focused Perinatal Creches in Edinburgh. Our Parent and Infant Relationship Supports (PAIRS) Creches help families overcome barriers to accessing perinatal counselling sessions, providing additional support to build parenting confidence, reduce separation anxiety, and encourage parent-infant bonding.

You will create a welcoming, safe, secure, and stimulating space for the children in your care, tailoring your approach to each child's needs. You will uphold the highest professional standards, ensuring quality and centering the infant's voice in all you do. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will engage sensitively and supportively with parents to bolster their emotional well-being. Joining a collaborative team, you will work together to maximize the creche's potential and ensure the children are well cared for.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of an HNC/SCQF 7 in Childcare or a willingness to work towards a relevant qualification. Experience with babies and young children is beneficial, but a passion for delivering exceptional care to our special visitors is most important. Could you make a difference in the lives of the children and families we support? If so, we want to hear from you.

We also offer you a range of benefits that you would expect from an organisation that supports others:

  • Access to a wide range of exclusive retail and leisure discounts through our rewards scheme and the Blue Light Discount card.
  • A generous contributory pension plan and death in service benefit.
  • Enhanced family friendly policies.
  • Access to our health cash plan, giving you cash back for a wide range of health treatments.
  • Access to a care concierge service to assist you with life's challenges.
  • Support for your training and development, including a contribution to your professional membership fees.
