Oversteps is a residential care home supporting older people in a warm, welcoming and supportive environment. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centred care that supports residents to live with dignity, comfort and independence.

What you will do:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents on a day-to-day basis
  • Support with personal care, daily routines and emotional wellbeing
  • Promote dignity, respect and choice in all aspects of care
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent, high standards of care
  • Follow care plans and contribute to accurate record keeping
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with residents and their families

About you:

You will be a caring and reliable individual who understands the importance of consistency and compassion in residential care. You will ideally have experience working with older people, although this is not essential as full training will be provided. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards this qualification, and be committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care as part of a supportive team.
