St Margaret's House is a specialist residential care home in Polmont, supporting up to 36 older people living with dementia. You'll help people with daily living while recognising their individual interests, abilities and preferences. Deliver personal and practical care in line with individual support plans. * Monitor wellbeing, recognise changes and communicate concerns appropriately. * Work as part of a team to maintain safe and reliable care. You'll recognise that everyone has different needs and that good care involves understanding those differences rather than expecting everyone to follow the same routine. Previous care experience is welcome, but we're equally interested in people who can demonstrate relevant skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to treating others with dignity. You'll be dependable, comfortable providing personal care and able to work responsibly as part of a team. You'll also be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with training and support provided by CrossReach to help you achieve this.
