Overview Cameron House is a specialist residential service providing dedicated dementia care for older people. As a Care Worker, you will support residents to feel safe, understood and respected, helping them to experience comfort, reassurance and meaningful daily routines within a supportive team environment.
Hours Hours available: We have full time and part time opportunities available. Shift patterns will be discussed and agreed during the recruitment process.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality, person-centred dementia care in line with individual care plans
Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and daily living activities
Promote dignity, reassurance and consistency for people living with dementia
Build positive, trusting relationships with residents, families and colleagues
Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, calm and supportive environment
Work collaboratively as part of the staff team to maintain high standards of care
About you You are a compassionate and reliable individual who understands the importance of patience, empathy and consistency in dementia care. Experience supporting people living with dementia would be welcomed, but it is not essential as full training and support will be provided. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards it, and be committed to delivering person-centred care. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC, or willingness to register.
