As a Care Worker, you'll support older people to live with dignity, independence and comfort. From helping with daily routines and personal care to providing encouragement and companionship, you'll play an important role in helping residents live well and feel valued.

What you will do:

  • Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living
  • Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration
  • Encourage independence and individual choice
  • Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life
  • Build positive relationships with residents and their families
  • Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures

About you:

You will be kind, dependable and committed to helping others. You'll enjoy working with people and understand the importance of treating everyone with dignity, respect and compassion. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We're equally interested in people with the right values, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
