As a Senior Care Worker, you'll help ensure residents receive the highest standards of care while supporting and encouraging colleagues to deliver their best every day. What your day could look like
- Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Lead shifts and coordinate care delivery
- Mentor and support less experienced colleagues
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to changing needs
- Contribute to assessments, care plans and reviews
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with procedures
About you
You will have experience working in a care setting and a strong understanding of person-centred care. You'll be organised, dependable and confident supporting colleagues while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
You must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare and be willing to work towards, or already hold, an SVQ Level 4 qualification. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
Please note this role is shift work, and will require you to work 2 out of 3 weekends.
