Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred support based on individual needs and recovery goals
  • Assisting with everyday activities while encouraging choice and independence
  • Supporting people to access their local community and social networks
  • Observing and sharing any changes in wellbeing with the wider team
  • Working alongside colleagues, professionals, and families when required
  • Completing clear records and following organisational policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • A caring and respectful approach towards people experiencing mental health difficulties
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work both independently and as part of a team
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Experience in care or mental health settings is welcomed but not essential — full training and induction will be provided
